In August the 3rd 2016, during the heat of summer in Povoa e Meadas (Castelo de Vide, Portugal), a great fire affected the Dance Festival Andanças.
The fire gained great proportions quickly affecting the car park of the festival with huge material loses, gladly it didn't affect anyone due to the distance of the fire from the festival's main area and by the prompt response of organizers and firefighters.
